A partial listing of past assignments includes:

  • Conducted on behalf of a national producer group a cost methodology of delivery options for producer-led OFFS initiatives. Determined current and projected costs of OFFS training programs at the national and provincial level and determined the delivery options for OFFS programs
  • Evaluated food safety system capabilities for the largest Poultry Producers Association in Guyana, South America. Benchmarked poultry processors, hatcheries and feed mills against the CODEX standard. Reviewed relevant Regulatory Acts and Food Safety and Quality Codes of Practice
  • Conducted on behalf of the Ministry of Agriculture (for a leading provincial government) an in-depth examination of the auditing needs of the province's agri-food sector and the development of alternative business models for the delivery of auditing services
  • Contracted by The Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI) to design and deliver one On-Farm Food Safety (OFFS) program for a visiting delegation of Chinese agri-food professionals (22 - experts, government officials, extension workers and researchers.) The scope of the engagement included program delivery and organizing a Field Trip to vegetable growers and a Vegetable Distribution Centre/ Packinghouse
  • Contracted to national producer group to provide consulting services and technical support to horticultural producers participating in CHC OFFS pilots
  • Contracted to conduct comprehensive food safety and quality systems audits (CHC-OFFS, GAP, GMP) on numerous producer grower/packer operations and grain handling facilities throughout Western Canada the mid-western USA (view testimonial)
