In November 2007, Collis Consulting Inc. worked with a visiting delegation of Chinese professionals - including industry experts, government officials and researchers - to develop a complete On-Farm Food Safety program.

International On-Farm Food Safety 'Training for Trainers' Program (November 2007)

The engagement required:

  • designing and delivering a complete On-Farm Food Safety (OFFS) Program for vegetable producers;
  • co-ordinating OFFS farm visits with leading vegetable growers in the province of Manitoba;
  • facilitating the development of an OFFS Action Plan to transfer knowledge gained from the OFFS training program and apply it to the Chinese agri-food sector.
